About the YMCA: Healthy Living &
Community Service

The YMCA of Orange County is the hub of community, fostering genuine connections and belonging. At the Y you are family. Our safe spaces empower every individual. Through diverse, high-quality programs, we enrich lives. With over 150 years of serving communities through health & wellness, child and youth development, swimming, sports, family programs, events and more, we are well-equipped and passionate about ensuring each person has the opportunity to find a community, make genuine connections, and thrive.

Our purpose is to strengthen communities through programs committed to youth development, healthy living,  and social responsibility throughout Orange County, East San Gabriel Valley, Pomona Valley, and Riverside County. With five Health & Wellness Centers, three program centers, 100+ Before & Afterschool Program locations, special needs programs, and numerous community resources, the Y connects people to their potential, purpose, and each other. As a charitable service organization, donations, grants, and legacy gifts ensure Y programs are open to all regardless of an individual’s or family’s financial circumstances. One hundred percent of donations support our financial assistance program or subsidized Y programs for those most in need.

We are committed to offering…

A place that welcomes all. Our community programs are open to everyone. No matter what someone’s circumstances, background, age, race, economic status, income, etc. is, they are welcome to access and benefit from our programs.

A place to be healthy and make meaningful connections. Our fitness facilities provide equipment classes, and healthy living programs for all fitness levels and abilities. They provide a place to build and foster friendships, reclaim healthy habits, overcome challenges, set new goals, and be the best version of themselves.

A positive place for kids. As parents and caregivers work to balance life and family many need a place for their child to be when not in school. A place where they know their child can learn, grow, play, and thrive all while being cared for in a safe environment. Our before & after school care program welcomes children ages K – 8th grade. Every child participates in curriculum-based learning, STEM projects, and activities. Our resident camps bring children of all backgrounds together for a week of exploration and adventure. Our Inclusion and New Horizons programs recognize the need for some to receive specialized services, care, and experiences.

At the YMCA of Orange County, we will continue to do our part as a dedicated nonprofit organization to help build a better future for our children and our community.
