Using our 100+ years of experience, highly-trained staff, and homeschool partnerships, we are ready to help you and your children thrive with our comprehensive homeschooling programs! Dear Homeschool Families,
As we step into a new season of learning and connection, I want to extend a warm welcome to both our returning families and those joining us for the first time. Over the past four years, your support and enthusiasm have transformed the YMCA of Orange County’s Homeschool Electives and Support Program into a vibrant, thriving community. This past session was a milestone—we filled many of our classes! That success is a true testament to the unique space we’ve built together.
This Spring, we’re excited to continue growing and evolving with fresh opportunities for creativity, exploration, and community engagement. Our electives remain rooted in strong educational principles while embracing the flexibility and hands-on learning that homeschool families value. We’ve added new experiences designed to spark curiosity, encourage collaboration, and support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Beyond classes, we’ll keep offering family field trips, monthly social events, curriculum swaps, and park days, because we believe learning happens everywhere and community matters just as much as academics.
Our mission remains the same: to provide student-led, experiential learning in a safe, supportive environment, guided by passionate teachers who understand both education and homeschool culture. Together, we’re filling a vital gap in the homeschool community and creating a space where every child can thrive.

Our programs emphasize Care, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Our Staff is Well-Trained, Certified in their Field, and Care About Every Child. In each of our programs and courses:

Our Y Inclusion Program provides one-on-one support to children with special needs as they attend local programs in Orange County.
Before & Afterschool Child Care
The YMCA Child & Youth Development Program provides opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive as they make their way from K-8th grade in a before school and after school setting.
