FITNESS FACILITY POLICIES

Face masks are no longer required for members. If you are not vaccinated, in a high-risk category, or feel more comfortable, we encourage you to wear a mask. Face coverings for KidZone participants are required for ages 2 and up at all times except when eating and drinking.

Members should use sanitizer frequently and wipe down equipment before and after use.

Equipment spacing will now be reduced and there will be no required distance between machines. There will be shields in select areas to provide a space for those who feel more comfortable working out with the shields.

Temperature checks are no longer required for adults to use the fitness facility.

All children in summer camp programs and KidZone will be subject to contactless temperature checks. Parents/guardians will need to confirm health statements prior to sign-in.

While we always ask for our members to be mindful of other members and their personal space, we will not be mandating social distancing.

Reservations are required for Group Exercise Classes and Lap Swim.

CHILD CARE POLICIES (afterschool program/camps)

Parents/guardians will check in and pick up children at the center entryway or outside of child care rooms.

All children will be subject to contactless temperature checks.

Parents/guardians will need to confirm health statements prior to sign-in.

Any child exhibiting signs of illness cannot be accepted.

Face coverings for childcare participants are required.  All children are required to have a face-covering readily available at the center. Face coverings will be made available to anyone who arrives without one. Parents/Guardians of children attending a childcare center are required to wear a face-covering when checking in and out their child. All YMCA staff are required to wear face coverings.

CLEANING POLICIES

Employees will clean surfaces using soap and water or EPA approved cleaning products, then use disinfectant.

Cleaning schedule that is based on a routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces, plus regular on-going cleaning, mid day and end of day cleaning of high touch surfaces.

Facilities will ensure that ventilation systems operate properly and increase circulation of outdoor air as much as possible.
