HOW TO ENTER
From September 1-14, 2022, qualifying YMCA of Orange County members may Join the Challenge by going to their registered YMCA of Orange County branch, and anyone at the front desk can get you registered or you can join online. Once registered you will need to complete the initial weigh-in.
You can register online HERE OR visit the front desk at your branch.
Winners will be announced the week of November 14, 2022.
There will be two categories in the Challenge:
Overall total weight loss for men’s category
Overall total weight loss for women’s category
Each winner will receive $250.
WEIGH-INS / IN BODY SCAN
In order to establish consistency and accuracy for the Challenge, the InBody machine will be used to determine the weight for each weigh-in and possible tiebreakers. The official initial and final weigh-ins must be conducted with an InBody Scan at your registered YMCA branch on the specified dates and times, which include:
Initial Weigh-In Dates: September 2-14, 2022 (days and time will vary per location)
Final Weigh-In Dates: November 8-11, 2022 (days and time will vary per location)
Weigh-ins from other sources will not be accepted for purposes of determining winners.

In the event of a tie between two or more participants, body fat percentage will be used to break the tie. YMCA staff will determine, in its sole discretion, which participant had greater body fat percentage reduction from initial to final check-in as detailed on the InBody scan.
