Understand, Engage, & Lead

Program Overview

The Model United Nations program is a simulation of the actual United Nations Assembly.

Participants will:

  • Represent different countries at the United Nations Assembly
  • Engage in research & devise policies on international issues
  • Gain knowledge about global issues such as peace‐keeping responsibilities between countries, immigration, stabilizing financial markets, and poverty
  • Learn about a diversity of ideas and view points
  • Apply their knowledge and beliefs in devising real-world solutions to enduring social problems, debate and public speaking skills - while learning about global issues.
